xeoVision, xeokit and Creoox AG.

Three names that come up together, and what each one refers to.

Creoox AG maintains the open-source xeokit SDK and the xeokit Data Engine. xeoVision brings both together in a framework, combining ready-made application foundations with Creoox’s advice and integration services. The components are documented at xeokit.io; this website explains the business solutions you can build with the framework.

What is xeoVision?

xeoVision is a framework for creating BIM business solutions. It combines visualization and file-processing technology, reusable application workflows, and the expertise to adapt and connect them. Your solution might be a common data environment, a visual foundation for a digital twin, or model viewing within a product you already offer. Explore the framework and its delivery scope.

The working xeoVision application demonstrates selected capabilities of that framework: browser viewing, project workflows and processed model data. Opening that application is a way to evaluate the foundation. A business deployment has its own agreed components, branding, integrations, data environment and operating responsibilities.

What is the xeokit SDK?

The xeokit SDK is an open-source WebGL toolkit for BIM and AEC, purpose-built for engineering models. It supplies the visualization foundation within xeoVision. It is licensed under AGPL-3.0, with a commercial licence available from Creoox AG where those terms do not fit.

Your developers can use the SDK API and plugins to extend the solution. Developer documentation and examples are available on xeokit.io.

What is the xeokit Data Engine?

The xeokit Data Engine processes supported engineering files. It turns engineering formats into open, web-ready outputs — JSON for properties and metadata, GLB and XKT for geometry — and runs as a managed service, in your own infrastructure, or as a standalone binary. The formats page lists each processor and its current availability.

Who is Creoox AG?

Creoox AG is the company behind xeokit and xeoVision, registered at Landstrasse 40, 9495 Triesen, Liechtenstein. The xeokit technology is used in commercial AEC software, public infrastructure platforms, engineering firms and universities across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia.

Is it written xeoVision, xeovision or xeo.vision?

The product name is xeoVision — lowercase x, capital V, one word. It is also written xeovision, and often referred to by its web address, xeo.vision. All spellings identify the same framework from Creoox AG; the domain also provides an entry point to the working application. The name follows the same pattern as the xeokit Data Engine processors: xeoIFC, xeoRVT, xeoSTEP, xeoNWD, xeoRVM.
